First DataBank Asia Pacific is continuously developing and progressing existing and new functionality and products to ensure that we remain at the forefront of patient safety improvements. We run an active product development programme based upon feedback from customers and end users, national requirements and newly emerging standards for clinical systems.

First DataBank Asia Pacific works closely with customers to ensure that our product development plans support customers' technical requirements and development timescales and are aligned with customers' long term business strategy. By continually improving the ease with which our products can integrate with clinical systems, we are confident that our customers can also remain at the forefront of new patient safety initiatives.

An API interface to the RDC is currently in development to allow our users to implement RDC features with greater ease. This new API will incorporate the existing features and functions of the iDIF API already in use by our customers to make migration simple.
